Okay you’re competing at a YoYo contest. What are things you wish a venue had or have seen and liked or not liked. What’s stuff you like to have at a contest. Your traveling so you can’t bring everything under the sun so what’s stuff that if the venue provided would make life easier for the players.
Any answer no matter how silly it might feel. IE baby powder, lotion, hand sanitizer, good lighting, etc.
Let me know what has worked or not worked or felt awkward.
I’m building a budget for a contest and trying to account for things I wouldn’t even think of so give me ideas big and small. This is your time to tell someone about that bad experience where the bathrooms had no paper towels and your hands where wet right before you went on stage or whatever that might find to mind.

I have barely ever seen a yo-yo contest actually keep to schedule, which is fine and understandable, but an announcement/update to let people know how far off schedule things are would have been nice in those delayed situations .

A private room, or set aside spot for all competitors to get in the zone is a good one.
