# Cleaning?

Hi,so my friend was using my 54 while we were on the field. When he gave it back I noticed some parts of my yoyo were darker than the rest, this wasn’t there before. I believe its just water/mud. Anyone have any tips? ??? Thanks! :-[

The first and most obvious solution would be to rub it down with soap and water.

If that doesn’t work, try nail polish remover.

Soap and water, yes.

I’d skip the nail polish remover. It’s a fairly strong solvent actually. Usually contains acetone. If it needs more that soap and water maybe a wipe down w/mineral spirits or lighter fluid.

I might just use water. But soap may be needed for more pesky stains.
