# cleaning yoyo bearing

what is the best liquid to use to clean your yoyo bearing? what won’t harm it?

Acetone, mineral spirits, or lighter fluid. None of those will harm your bearing. Just make sure that you blow out all the leftover fluid with compressed air after or else it will leave residue on the bearing and you’ll be right back in the same boat of needing it cleaned again.

Theres tons of stuff you could use.

Alcohol, acetone, lighter fluid, etc.

Alcohol is probably the safest to use and easiest to find at a drug store or supermarket.

I use 90% alcohol. Works pretty good
