Has anybody made a clay yoyo (that works) before? I realize ancient yoyos were made out of ceramic, but I mean just regular clay.

I’ve been experimenting with making a lego lathe to carve a clay yoyo. So far it’s working fairly well.

I was going to hand make one in my ceramics class, normally I throw pots and sometimes sculpt, but I figured it would be too hard. Clay shrinks when you fire it, so the chances of both halves being the same weight and size in the end were slim.
