The duncan first is a fixed axle YoYo it’s neat and with some skill in modern responsive play it can do stalls and stuff but the rubber does instantly kill spin if it’s touched.

I would recommend it to kids with special needs or very young kids that want to participate but giving them a hard plastic or metal YoYo would turn into a flail and endanger others around them.

It’s also neat for fixed play
