# Censor face in video

Anyone have any tips about how to blur faces in videos? I’m technically savvy but not very experienced with video editing. I’m also looking for a roughly free solution. I’ve tried YouTube studios and it appears to do what I want but I can’t seem to save the edit.

DaVinci Resolve is by far the best free editing software. There is a decent learning curve if you haven’t used an NLE before but you can definitely learn how to do what you want through YouTube tutorials.

I use Kdenlive on Ubuntu, it’s free and comes with the tools for blurring. I haven’t used Resolve though so can’t say that Kdenlive is better.

the gaussian blur effect is what you use in adobe premier, you can draw a circle with it
