Does the color off the CBC pad affect the performance? ??? ---

Yes, the two colors are different pads. The difference is subtle but there is a play difference. I find the yellows to grab the string a bit more. ---

Pretty much what Nathan said… The colored pads bind slightly tighter and are better for regens. ---
