# Carb Cleaner

Has anyone ever used Carburetor cleaner to clean a yo-yo bearing?
We used it all the time when I was a mechanic. I know it would eat through the o-rings an stuff, but it sprays on and dries really fast, so it seems like a couple minutes of drying would get it off the bearing and you would be ready to throw it in your yo-yo.

The fast evaporating solvents tend to leave a residue on the bearing.
