# Can sparkle freehand zeros be painted?

I know all yo-yos can theoretically be painted but can you see the paint well through the yoyo like a clear freehand zero.

If the material is transparent or semi-transparent, then yes. The amount of success you experience will vary depending on the amount of sparkle, but mostly the color of the plastic and the color of the paint you choose to use.

I would assume this to mean you intend to paint the INSIDE portion of the FHZ and cap so it won’t be subject to chipping, cracking, nicking and peeling.

Yes I would paint on the inside. And I personally think it might look cooler than clear freehand zeros when it’s all done and painted. does anyone have pics of a painted sparkle freehand?
