I see a few people here have turntables and lots of electronic savvy. In the 1950s my maternal grandfather, Paul Ondrejcek, sung in night clubs, cruise ships and recorded 2 songs (under the name Paul Ondre) which were released on vinyl and played on some radio stations in New Jersey (and maybe elsewhere). This vinyl record is heavy and 78rpm. I would love to have both songs put into a modern music file format so I could post them online. I never tried to clean the record for fear of damaging it. Even if it came out scratchy, I would still love to post these two songs but have no turntables or editing programs to clean up the sound. Does anyone here have experience with these type of things? Hey was about to give some instructions on how to do this if you have a turntable and mixer but I did a quick search and it looks like someone has archived your grandfathers music already! You could probably find a sound engineer who could clean it up a little but I think it adds to the charm ---

A big thank you to @yophilyo for helping me get two more songs my grandfather recorded in the 1940s on 78rpm onto youtube. “Fiffity Two Street” is a song I can find no info about. My grandfather sang in nightclubs and on cruise ships under the name Paul Ondre. His full name was Paul Ondrejcek and was my mother’s father. He died in 1982.
