Question, when doing a polish, do you need to use 800 grit sandpaper? Or can you go from 600 to 1500? Thanks. ---

When your spinning it and wet sanding the paper is just so thin it is more hassle than good. The 320 I was using is after a wet sand to even things out. May sound odd to go from 800 wet to 320 dry but the 320 is not paper. Not a compound either. :wink: ---

I’m not going to say anything bad about that. Satin is another method used to make the surface more grindable. You aren’t going to get a mirror finish though. ---
