# Butterfly help

For some reason, I can’t seam to do butterfly(the counterweight trick). I just started 5A, after thinking that I should probably start learning another style after knowing a lot in 1A, and I just can’t seem to even swing the counter weight and yoyo in opposite directions at the same time. I can’t even keep my hand still to let them swing by themselves. Any tips?

Use an up-and-down motion sorta like boingy-boing to keep them spinning

take two CW’s, and tie them on each end of a string, practice using that, its easier.

That’s MUCH easier. I’ll work on that, and try to get that motion down.
