My name is Richard, and I’m a BST addict. Jokes aside, I absolutely love trading and buying with the community. It’s kept me out of a lot of trouble and brings me a lot of joy. I’m not super well off, so it brings me to trade a lot, or buying deals and flipping them and putting those profits back into the hobby. I thank you all for being a part of that. ---

BST is great. I love trading too since not everyone has more $$$ to inject into the hobby, so being able to trade my shelf-only yoyos for other people’s shelf-only yoyos is very enjoyable. Oh I forgot I am Michael to keep with thread trends. ---

The first four stages of yoyo addiction: Phase 1: You’ve bought a large case because you went way past “just a few more”. Your wife rolls her eyes when yoyos show up at the door. Phase 2. Your case was full a long time ago. Your wife got angry when you bought another one so you no longer display yoyos in order to disguise how many you actually have. Yoyos that don’t fit in the cases she knows about are squirreled away in random hiding spots. Phase 3: You start shipping to a friends house to avoid upsetting the wife. When you sell some, you make sure she sees you taking the yoyos to the post office to give the impression your collection is going down. When you retrieve your maildays from your buddy they stay in the trunk until they can be safely shuttled inside. Phase 4 (terminal): Your friends have told you to stop shipping to them. They didn’t think you meant that many packages for an indefinite amount of time and felt inclined to end the arrangement. You’ve also ran out of hiding spots and wife begins to stumble upon some of them. You’re forced to come to grips with your addiction. ---

Buying yo-yos is cool bc you’re supporting the community. You should post them and not be embarrassed! Also for the topic, I don’t really do bst because it would be a slippery slope but In the 9 months ish I’ve been yoyoing, I think I’ve spent around a grand on yo-yos. I’m not embarrassed tho. I really like yo-yos and yoyoing and I’m glad to support the community. ---

I only ever have “one” yo-yo….in my hand. Unless of course I have “two” yo-yos in my hands. So this doesn’t seem like a problem to me. Just because those others are in my house…doesn’t necessarily mean they’re “in my possession” it’s all just a matter of perspective…and maybe some justification. ---

@Slestak75 I always have at least 1 yoyo on my person. Often 2. Sometimes 3. Occasionally 4 or more. @Owlman when your harboring and moving yo-yos like your running a drug den? Is that when it’s gone too far or would that still be in phase 3… what if you’ve started drafting plans to make your own yo-yos to obscure what yo-yos are yours and what are part of the “business”. Asking for a friend. ---
