# Broke my First Raider While Cranking

Been real lucky with my Raider/Fireball mods so for. My first 4 pairs turned out great; 2 Raiders and 2 Fireballs. Picked up a new red/clear and yellow/clear Raiders, opened them up, switched halves, installed white spacers and reassembled. Ended up with red/yellow sides. First one cranked down just right. Plays great! Second one’s axle broke before I could get below 2.40mm gap.

Happened to me too but theres really not much you can do. They’re pretty cheap anyways so you can pick up another one and be a bit more careful. If you’re worried about it breaking again the loop 1080 is a great option albeit expensive.
