I need some help, I land in them on accident, but I can never get in one when I try to do them

try to push your throwhand forward when the slack comes. remember to put your hand in after and not at the beginning or else you’ll land a hook.

Learn Trapeze to Green Triangle. This shows you what is happening, except from a trapeze instead of just a breakaway.

I found it helps to curl your freehand index finger downward as the string hits it.

I had this problem to I pretty much just had to keep practising. Also it might help if you do double brent stoles because I could do them but not a normal brent stole at one point, then you just kind of get it after a while.

If you can do trapeze to traingle(and I mean from trapeze whip to a triangle in one motion by putting throwhand forward), it will be a lot easier for you to do it in one motion without trapeze.
