I don’t know how best to reach Doc and I’m not sure if he’s still on vacation. I’ve got one of the new blue weekenders that may have a tolerance issue - it flew apart during my first session with it. I tightened it right before playing. The axle came unattached from both sides! (why I think there’s a tolerance problem, because this is _highly_ unusual in my experience) during play and is now hopelessly lost in a shag carpet. Does anyone know the specs or where I can find a replacement? It doesn’t seem to be a standard sized axle. On his website it has the axle size listed on the Weekender page. I ordered the size listed and it was actually a little short. I had to order the next size up. I have extras. 😃 ---

I had this happen as well… I think the axle is a tad too short. Did you find the axle or is it lost when it fell apart? ---

@Mrnovember410 I have the axle you need. Doc’s website calls for #6-32 X 5/16” If you use that size it doesn’t engage all of the threads in the yo-yo. As seen in this pic from Doc’s webpage. I found that #6-32 X 3/8” engages all of the threads in both halves and greatly reduces the possibility of stripping. The second pic is of my Weekender with the 3/8” set screw. So I cam searching and found this thread - had a bad string knot and unscrewed my Weekender while walking. Got the knot out and when to put the yoyo back together to discover the axle was NO WHERE to be found. Ugh! Yoyo down! I wasn’t having any luck in my search for a “Yoyo axle 6-32 5/16” and don’t have any idea why I didn’t think to call it a set screw. 😄 Wondering if my local hardware store may have something. Fingers crossed. But, anyone have a link to a quick source to pick these up online? Thanks! ---

With your 3/8" - the picture looks like the axle sticks “up” into the finger spin cups. Is that not the case? ---

Love my local Ace Hardware! 3 Stainless Axles at $0.80 a piece. Bought 2 of the 6-32x5/16 and did buy 1 of the 6-32x3/8. I shouldn’t have doubted @Slestak75. His picture looked like it stuck up to me but it was perfect. So I have one amazing axle now and 2 spares of what I had that fell out. 🤷‍♂️ ---

It actually sits just about flush. The play of light on the tapered end of the screw just makes it look like it sticks out. But you have discovered this already. :wink: ---

really strange that this one doesnt use an M4x0.7 axle like the vast majority of yoyos edit: just checked my OG weekender, and it likely uses the same thread pitch axle (just longer). A-bearings feature a 5mm inner diameter, which is the same as D bearing yoyos and loads of D bearing yoyos use M4x0.7 axles
