whenever i try i move my thing up and down but my yoyo always leaves the string or my yo is bouncing side ways? ???

I had this problem myself whenlearning boingy boing. I found what causes the yoyo to do so, is that the string is not dead center of the yoyo. And you also need your strings perfectly lined up.
