# Blisters?

Hey how do I not get blisters when I wrap the top?

Top string is hard on your hands . You may have to slow down a little until you get a little callused. Some string is harsher than others. You could pm Neff about some bamboo string, it’s real soft.

Bamboo will feel like silk compared to raw cotton stock string. Mercerized cotton is also better. Washing your string with your undies may help also, just keep it away from fabric softener or it will get too limp.
