OG in this context meaning the original first production runs of a yo-yo. The production of a lot of YYF throws were moved overseas to china to be made at a cheaper shop, making the original productions runs more valuable. Some like the skyline were made of 7075 instead of 6061, the genesis has a lot of fillets and different overall design from the Made in China variant.
