What’s the point of calling it a Northstar if it’s called a Shaqlerstar? I don’t care if it’s just a funny looking Northstar, it’s a Shaqlerstar. ---

It looks to me like the northstar had thicker plastic hubs, and not just a thin cap like it appears the shaqlerstar has. I’ve seen someone take the northstar caps and bearingize them to make makeshift hubstacks even, so I’m under the impression they’re sturdier than this. I could be wrong though. ---

I’m always looking for stuff on weight distributions. FYI, my Northstar has one of these “Nubs.” It’s pretty normal. It’s just the axle poking through.
