# best mineral spirit solvent

out of these 3 which would be the best? I heard that mineral spirits cant have water or something (because of rust) in it so which would you use?

The first 2 are the same thing, just different sizes. Honestly though that’s just because the “Green” ones say that they are not tradition mineral spirits.
I don’t know what that means exactly, but it is apparently 65% renewable petroleum distillates.
Though, as I’ve said before, I use Zippo fluid (Naptha) and haven’t had any problem.

u use zippo fluid as in lighter fluid i thought that was bad for most yoyos…well thanks i will take ur advice and get that one

Nah, like I said, it’s naptha. It’s a paint thinner/solvent. It will evaporate away before you put the bearing back in your yoyo anyway. You might be thinking of WD-40, which is still a topic of debate.
