Completely agree with the HD, it is just so good. I really like the exia and havent played the brexia so far but to me HD seems just a tad better ---

I honestly wonder if the ‘22 Edge would be better. While the Shutter is iconic and is still considered YYF’s flagship, some will argue that its performance isn’t anything special. The Edge however is still loved by many, and its performance and aesthetic drew a lot of competitors to use it. ---

HD is quite possibly the best performing yoyo I’ve gotten to throw (barring anything exotic and unobtainable) Anyone considering one should try it, and Mark should make more 😜 ---

Yeah but I have a hard time saying that a company’s best Yoyo is one that they only did one run of. Especially a brand like YoYoFactory. I would probably go with the og edge or maybe a more recent pick would be the miracle. Remember though, 12 years ago when the shutter released it was a popular competition choice by many, and that fact that it has stayed in production for that long speaks to the Yoyo. Did it release with the right players name on it at the right time? Sure, but it still was a pretty high end design in 2013 ---

Oh I tried to leave collaborations out of my list, because they aren’t _purely_ mine. But if we’re going there, then I’d add the metal Harbinger to my list for metal responsive. I agree with you, the HD is a good choice for best in MK1 brand. Incredibly high performing yoyo. ---

Never played a Shutter, but I’d say the Edge 2022/3.0 is in the top 4 best yoyos I’ve ever used, and top 2 YYF. It’s tough to say with arguably the largest yoyo company, though. One drop Kamuraiju, very simple yet very fun and capable. Might be my current favourite yoyo and I truly think @da5id did an amazing job designing it. From other brands: G2 Banshee (1st one) Mfd Gelada 2.1 Art Grail (technically another one drop) ---

For Tom Kuhn I’d say the best in brand is either the original No Jive 3-in-1 Yo-Yo for the fixed axle folks, and the RD-1 with laminate halves for the bearing model. ---
