I had to switch the bearing in my DM2(regular bearing). When I shake the yoyo now it rattles a little and it won’t wind like it used to. Any help would be appreciated. 🙂 ---

Tightened it, still rattles a bit but it’s much more responsive. Thanks! ---

Yes. When I shake it. I took a look and no. It does run better now though. ---

Are you shaking it like a Polaroid or shaking it like a salt shaker? When my yoyos start making strange noises I turn just up the music, if that doesn’t work, I add a little lube. If I start getting the shakes, I switch from coffee to beer. ---

If you’re trying to make your DM2 responsive you need the slim bearing. Lube it or wrap the string twice if it isn’t responsive enough. “It won’t wind like it used to” makes me think you’re using the wide (size C) bearing, that bearing is designed to play unresponsive. Either way, if the bearing is making noise when you shake it… Stop shaking it. ---
