What do I use to clean the bearing before lubing it? A guide would be really helpful. Thanks!

Google it. Look in the maintenance section of this forum. You should find several existing guides.

I use acetone. Be careful whatever video you find, make sure to follow all instructions and use chemicals in a safe, ventilated area.
