I’ve played both. Bassacuda is more rim weighted but the Hatchet has this really perfect weight distribution. Bassacuda is a tank.

I know that the Hatchet 2 is the best thing I’ve used at its price.

I haven’t used the Bassacuda, but is it really better ‘by far’? It’s hard to imagine.

I know the Hatchet 2 has a lot less goof factor than the Bassacuda for sure. What is it with those engravings?

I’d definitely go with the Hatchet 2. It’s worth noting I haven’t played a Bassacuda, but it would have to play a heck of a lot better than the Hatchet 2 for me to consider it given the tacky branding on it, to be honest.
