I’m selling a Flying Lemon in the Lemon colourway.
The price is $130 USD shipped to **anywhere but the US** due to annoying postal changes to the US. If you are a US, I’m sorry about that.
If you are interested Australia, you can have it shipped for $100 USD.
It is brand new and includes extra bearing and pads, 2 stickers and string.

Things never got more annoying for people shipping out of the US, other countries that have duties or tarrifs make the receiver pay when they get the package, so it doesn’t impact the sending experience at all.

Yeah but you still have to fill out a customs form and it’s a lot of paperwork and fees. Nothing changed from what I know but it’s always been a hassle. I’ve done it a few times but definitely would prefer not too if I can avoid it.

I think the only things I’ve needed to indicate when sending things internationally is if it’s a gift, what I’m sending (yoyo), and how much it’s worth, and then Canada Post automatically includes that info on the label so it’s hardly any more work. What makes it so hard for you guys?

I believe its dependent to the country youre shipping to. Ive shipped some stuff to europe its its like a bundle of papers and a special label

My issue is more the value of the dollar dropping this year specifically at the start of tariffs. The only country that I interact with in this hobby that’s worse off than the US in exchange is jpy everyone else we have lost significant trading power with.
On top of that it’s also sentiment. It’s actively harder to trade and do business with folks in other countries as some folks overseas are put off with the idea of doing commerce of any sort with the US and its citizens.
paperwork is still annoying and shipping is generally higher both ways as many countries have placed reciprocal tariffs through the year which have made a mess. Generally trade with the Canada and the UK has been the easiest but the uncertainty and lose of trust in the global logistics system this year has made interacting on a global basis harder in all directions .
Now back to the point of this. Someone buy Glenn’s lemons before I beg for a US exemption lol

Nobody sending anything to me has ever said anything about fees. Tariffs are paid by importers, not exporters (with the exception of the USA because it thought it was special, and now a lot of postal services won’t send mail there lol), and there are no reciprocal tariffs here.

I guess I misspoke, fees isn’t probably the right word. USPS just charges around 30+ dollars to ship internationally depending on location and only about 6 in the states. (Obviously a longer sipping distance is gonna cost more) It’s easier for me to just cover shipping for the buyer but I’m always willing to work with someone internally, it’s just less cost efficient for both of us.

More expensive shipping, yes. 23 USD for small packages, and about 41 USD for 3+ yoyos, but that’s not actually that much. It’s also pretty fast if the sender is on the west coast. Just means I pay a bit more; but I’m not here to re-sell, so paying more is better than the alternative: being stuck with incredibly limited options. I collect One Drop yoyos, and if I limit myself to buying outside the USA then my options are:
1. Brand new yoyos in solid colours (usually ugly ones that don’t sell well) that cost more than the same yoyo new/used from the USA, including the international shipping cost. To give you a picture of how dire this is, Spingear recently restocked a One Drop yoyo. Just one. As in, one unit. They bought one gold Kamuraiju. So now, you can buy a purple Deep State or a gold Kamuraiju from there. Have fun getting anything even slightly obscure. Also shipping to here from Spingear is ~24 USD flat-rate.
2. Very occasional BST posts from people in other countries who have One Drops. I have only gotten 5 One Drops this way. 1 of them was from a trade that I couldn’t have done if I hadn’t bought the yoyo that I traded from the USA in the first place. The other 4 were from one person, and the somewhat lower shipping cost was counteracted by them asking for more money because they already paid a higher shipping cost to get them from the USA.
So yeah, I think in general paying the more expensive shipping is totally worth it.

Funny that you call these B grades when ‘lemon’ is already used to mean a dud or a defective article. So, you’re selling a lemon lemon lemon.
P.S. I initially interpreted ‘B grade flying lemon’ as some kind of hilariously awesome pejorative. I think that’s a good description for a yoyo that’s not working—a flying lemon.
