# Are titanium throws good for 5A?

Since they are more durable than aluminum, I can avoid damage made by the counter weight right?

Yes, definitely. I’d say find a nice used Ti Dream.

The real damage is generally from dropping the yoyo, not because of the counterweight. Also Duncan have some rubber counterweights available.  
But to answer the question yes.
