# Anyone try the Ghost IX?

Im looking at a few yoyos to possibly buy on Yoyo Day. Has anyone tried the Ghost IX?

I like the size, but I am not sure about all that weight (72.4 grams).

I tried it at club. Good Yoyo. Weight is totally fine for me but too wide for my preferences. Still a fun and good Yoyo.

Thanks! Ive been enjiying the mega monster, so im actually a bit intrigued by the size. I am more concerned on weight since its unusual to see something so heavy, so thats actually a bit reassuring to bear for sure. Im guessing it helps keep this monster stable.

Don’t get hung up on weight. A yoyo being heavy or light is just relative to other yoyos you’ve played. 73g really isn’t that heavy, and you’ll get used to it after playing for a few minutes. Scaling up the weight with the size just means it can better take advantage of the size to offer even more performance.

I haven’t played a Ghost IX, but I’ve played an old IX and it’s good. The size is infinitely weirder to adjust to than the weight, but if you already have a Mega Monster you like, you should be right at home.
