Wont make any difference. Suicides are just as easy on a highwalled yoyo as a low walled, undercut yoyo.

What exactly does an undercut provide to the player? Less string contact?
Can someone give me the real science behind this design choice?

As far as my understanding goes, it’s just a way to push more weight out to the very edge of the rims. So whatever benefits come from more rim weight, viola.
However, that’s in the case of ONE undercut… This double undercut triple step triple rim thing — I have no idea what effect it would have on the yoyo in terms of play, but I’m sure it would feel fairly unique. lol. 🙂
