I love craft brews, but it seems like 25% of the time, they taste like hairspray. What’s up with that? ---

I guess it depends on what kind of beer you’re drinking. I’ve never personally gotten a hairspray flavor before, but the only beer I can think that would taste that way would be an IPA ---

@YoYoExpertGarrett I have a cellar for Parish. Abita is bleh lol. Let me know what’s in your area and I’d be happy to swap some local brew. Parish and Gnarly Barley are my go to breweries from Louisiana. Ooooh, I might have to take you up on some trades next time I get out to Tree House or Hermit thrush (If you like IPAs and Sours). Right now my “cellar” (it’s a closet) is mostly imports that I’m holding onto for a bit. Good friend of mine is a B United importers rep so I have a lot of schlenkerla and some harder to find international beers. ---

[5 Stones Artisan Brewery on Instagram: "Fracking Blackstrap can release this weekend! Will be available beginning Thursday in 12oz 4pack cans for the first time. Fracking Blackstrap is a 9.2% American Imperial Stout brewed with Blackstrap Molasses, Cocoa Nibs and Vanilla Beans. The rich flavors and aromas of Blackstrap Molasses highlight the beer but are in harmony with the dark roasty malts used to brew Fracking Blackstrap. Yeah im lazy as far as that goes lol. I just use the end as a handle of a sorts and dont eat the last inch or so. ---

If you’re happy that way go for it! I personally find that meh flavor cooks into the asparagus when I do it that way though.
