I’m in competing in 1A for the first time ever in two weeks. Any helpful advice for practicing and performing will be greatly appreciated. Any tips for me? Thanks Colin! ---

Hey! Good luck! I think a few good tips would be to be comfortable with everything you’re doing in your routine. If you have any tricks that you’re worried about not being consistent with, I’d recommend not doing them. For practice, I think it’s also good to imagine yourself being on stage - that way, you’re more used to the pressure. I heard some players do stuff like run a little before they practice to mimic adrenaline, which seems like a really logical idea. Also, just have fun! You aren’t really in much control of how you do on stage, so it’s always best to just enjoy the moment. ---
