Been playing a lot of CDDA, DF, and Cogmind lately. I really love the gameplay loop of Cogmind and think it’s a great one to jump into during small breaks. If you like Qud, consider checking out Tales of Maj’Eyal if you haven’t already. ---

Oooh, I second the ToME suggestion. It’s also free, but absolutely worth buying. I’ve tried to get into cdda so many different times. I’ve just never been able to progress very far. It’s been a while now though, maybe I should try again. ---

Again MiFi is typically the way to go. They are kinda unstoppable as long as you get good artifacts. There was one run I did where I managed to get 10 runes with my fighter. Didn’t actually survive though, as i got killed by a ball of fire ---

Definitely worth giving it another shot! There’s some wonderful mods to make things easier but not too unfair. It’s gotten some great quality of life updates in recent months as well. ---
