7075 instead of ‘68. Recessed the pads and spread the rim weight to bring it closer to the body from what I’ve gathered.
Oh! And scrapped the beefcake bearing

Another important change is the bearing. I have ordered more precise, shieldless and lightly lubed bearings. The ones in thw first proto were really vibey when clean and absolutely caked with grease.

7075 instead of 6061.
On paper 7068 is meant to be stronger than 7075, but in my experience I find 7075 is tougher and less likely to ding. Thats why I chose 7075 over 7068.
