# Annoying thing about BST

Yeah, for my 65 dollar cliff I got it was a total of 85 with shipping included so I can see that price coming up.
I think that they only thing about the bst that annoys me is when someone just makes no sense. Or if they pm me and I have no clue what they even mean or I might ask myself if they even read my bst, haha.
As for prices I have prices listed on my stuff and I must admit that it is pretty high but I just hate selling throws. I remember the first sale I did that got to me was my GBA Irony. I sold it for 90 dollars and to be honest it just sucked, even though that was a great price for a damaged irony and it was the first offer that he made on it. For some reason I just didn’t like it.
I much prefer to trade instead of sell. I will also admit that I am also hard to trade with sometimes since I have tried so many yoyos and I have a set list of what I want. Most of my prices on my stuff are just a bit over retail, excluding some of my throws witch are pretty cheap, but I just prefer trading. If I feel like selling a certain yoyo then I will lower the price.

I don’t care about prices or offers. If I want the yoyo I will pay for it. Lets face it most people on here don’t have much money so they like to whine about something they can’t get.
The most annoying thing is when people think their dinged throws are worth almost as much as a mint one.

For me it’s when it’s called mint, and its been out of the box played and dinged.
“yeah it’s mint has a few dings and scuffs…”
I’d love to see that fly in an action figure BST or a comic BST. You would get tared and feathered. Maybe run out of town.
I do like when folks are honest. It’s got some dings but plays smooth. Is that so hard? :🙂

Now I have the perfect response to this.
I just agreed on a Mint condition, smooth, Jack Rabbit Avalanche (Not FG), for $85 shipped. How can a FG Avalanche in pristine condition be worth as much on the BST?

When someone has a beat dv888 and a kazoo and is saying “trading for clyw only!” Or their whole bst is sold, why would you bump that? Just redo your bst, please!

Ok, so probably the most annoying thing about the BST is poor communication. No reply or only some initial communication then nothing… It’s a classic imbalance of power and just plain rude.
For example, if the deal isn’t going to happen then just let me know. Are we really above a simple ‘no thanks’?
Shout outs to all who I’ve dealt with that have been responsive and pleasant, y’all make the BST worth it.

Depends on who lists it on the bst and if someone is willing to pay that price. If that person wants to milk it for all its worth or if they just want a little money and sell it for whatever. Everybody is different. Also trying to make sense on CLYW pricing on the bst is hard enough, haha, there all over the place.

Slade is right. The value of something is not always what it cost you, because if it is something rare or highly sought after, it will be worth more in the future. So, the value is indeed the price someone is willing to pay for the item. If you have a yo-yo and paid $100 retail for it, but someone paid $200 to get it from you, that yo-yo is worth as much as $200. So, that makes value difficult to ascertain, because you have to encounter the right buyers, to know what the item is really worth.
