@theendofcake and I got bored on discord and decided to hunt down every yoyo that was used in the 2024 WYYC 1A Finals to get the stats of them all. I did the diameter, Cake did the width. WYYC Yoyo Diameters: Mir - Miracle (Old Version) - 56.69 Jakub - Noir - 55.5 Hunter - Moonlight - 56 Jae Hwi Sung - Ancepts - 57 Allon - Logic - 56 Dauer - Evolve - 55.85 JS - Crescendo - 55.6 Connor - Motive - 54.98 Chen - Wilderness - 57.97 Ryuichi - Upheaval - 56.5 Dong Hun Nam - LM/Radiance - 56/55 depending on which yoyo Terrance - Vanitas - 56.75 Miri - Miracle (Old Version) - 56.69 Viteri - Kairos - 57.61 Shuyun - Wilderness - 57.89 Blaise - Adrenaline - 55 Kohei - Tesseract - 56 Marc - Gear 5 - 56 Dkim - Tiss Distortion - 55 Keiran - Noir - 55.5 Going with averages for the split versions = 55.5 for Radiance/LM so (56.69 + 55.5 + 56 + 57 + 56 + 55.85 + 55.6 + 54.98 + 57.97 + 56.5 + 55.5 + 56.75 + 56.69 + 57.61 + 57.98 + 55 + 56 + 56 + 55 + 55.5)/20 = 56.2mm Average Diameter Mir - Miracle (Old Version) - 47.92 Jakub - Noir - 46 Hunter - Moonlight - 48.2 Jae Hwi Sung - Ancepts - 51 Allon - Logic - 49 Dauer - Evolve - 50 JS - Crescendo - 48 Seals - Motive - 45.95 Chen - Wilderness - 52 Ryuichi - Upheaval - 45 Nam Dong Hun - LM/Radiance - 47/48 depending on which yoyo Terrance - Vanitas - 50.25 Miri - Miracle (Old Version) - 47.92 Viteri - Kairos - 48.5 Shuyun - Wilderness - 52 Blaise - Adrenaline - 50 Kohei - Tesseract - 45.5 Marc - Gear 5 - 50 Dkim - Tiss Distortion - 47.5 Keiran - Noir - 46 Going with averages for the split versions = 47.5mm for the LM/Radiance so (47.92 + 46 + 48.2 + 51 + 49 + 50 + 48 + 45.95 + 52 + 45 + 48 + 50.25 + 47.92 + 48.5 + 52 + 50 + 45.5 + 50 + 47.5 + 46)/20 = 48.44mm Average Width The average yoyo used in finals was a bimetal with a 14/20 split towards bimetals. 13/20 if Dong Hun Nam used the LM instead of the Radiance. The aluminum skew on the yoyos is towards 7075. Miracle x2 - 7075 Noir x2 - 7075 Moonlight - 6061 Ancepts - 6061 Logic - 6061 Evolve - 7075 Crescendo - 6061 Motive - 7068 Wilderness x2 (Likely 7075 version as it’s what Chen used in 2023) - 7075 Upheaval - 7075 (Inclined to guess 7075 as it’s what YYR uses on their bimetals like Overdrive Draupnir) Radiance/LM - 6061 Vanitas - 6061 Kairos - 7075 Adrenaline - 6061 Tesseract - ??? Gear 5 - 7075 Tiss Distortion - Ti 7075 = 10 Uses 7068 = 1 Use 6061 = 7 Uses ??? = 1 Use Titanium = 1 Use So the average yoyo used in finals was a: 56.2x48.4 Bimetal w/ a 7075 Body Of course, it’s just an average lol. ---

prob a noob question but why did yall not do weight as well? just curious if it was less of a factor in your discussion or if it doesnt matter for the same reasons the other dimensions do ---

I’m not sure of the Anceps and Tesseracts’ weights but ignoring those two and assuming Dong Hun Nam used the Radiance, the average weight was 65.4g
