We probably won’t be on the best coast for quite some time. If you have an instagram you can win a prototype in late spring.
I wish I could make Cali States… I miss that side of the country so much…

Not even a gram over 66.
If that’s heavy to you, then sure…
I see 68 grams+ as heavy, so for me no.
The Shout was labeled as 66.5 before. It’s just a .45 gram difference.

The machine shop weighed it without pads and string and it was 66.5 grams.
Add pads and string and you’re at 66.95 grams.

Just shy of 67 is not heavy. Especially spread out to an oh-so-slightly-larger 57mm dia.

I recently had the pleasure of throwing the Shout. It’s solid and stable, with some weight to it, just the way I like my yo-yos. It also plays at an easy chill pace, but it can go fast, if you want to take it there. I think it is a great all around throw. It’s comfortable to throw, and happens to fit GoCrazyForYoyo’s laid back relaxed style of play, just right. The Shout has all of my favorite features, and I think it will appeal to a lot of people. It plays nice and smooth, and I think these will look incredible with some nice colorways. I was really impressed with what Amplified came up with the first time out. I enjoyed playing it, and I plan to support this release when it gets produced. I weighed it on a calibrated scale, bearing, no string, at 66.95. A special thanks to Amplified for the chance to try it out. A few photos of The Shout:

IMO, this looks like a super rim weighted, die-hard-competition-designed-4-speed kind of yoyo
But from TA’s desc, it sounds like it has a soul…
