Some more DIY stuff:
⬆ DIY yoyo case I made from an old cosmo case. I just cut out the inside with an exacto knife and stuffed it with foam. Not the prettiest but it does it’s job.
⬆ diy knuckle rollers I made out of clay. I also tried carving one but I suck at that and I’m to embarrassed to post a pick 🙈
⬆ DIY begleri! Just made this and it looks like a fun skill toy to get into!

Does painting miniatures count as DIY? I don’t play board games really but I’ve been getting into painting miniatures of characters from my favourite game franchise (Devil May Cry) and I’m working my way up to having enough confidence to paint this 3D printed Princess Mononoke figure my partner gifted me.
If miniature painting doesn’t count 😛 then I sanded and vanished that table with my dad and I machined that domino keychain myself during uni.

This was my first DIY attempt related to yoyos.
Hybrid Fulvia is my fav hybrid yoyo and I wanted to make a unique color.
I took the cream body and raw rings; dislocated them and then put them together.
The yoyo turned out to be playable so I guess it was a successful attempt; or at least I’d like to think that way haha

I do a lot of DIY like making my own strings and fixing stuff. I fixed a cassette deck by replacing its belts and I fixed a mechanical keyboard I got for free by adding a USB-C port to replace its cable. But this one was one of my favorite projects, my modular synth rack. _pats top of rack_ there is so much wood glue in this thing lol
I have to start playing again my backlog of stuff I wanna do is too much. This is its current state which is a little dusty but as far as playing it I just need to plug it all in and turn them on.

I have a lot of DYI projects, a current one that has been in the works for a bit but I’m still dragging my feet with is the **Bear&Fox Armoury 3-pack** yoyo case. Handmaking the patches was important to me so I ended up developing a whole tooling set to custom cut and stamp these leather patches with my personal logo. I then stain and seal them before permanently adhering them to the case. I will have a limited number of these for sale eventually in purple and blue. I’m just trying to get the velcro for the dividers right. It also fits a kendama without the dividers. 🙂
**Bear&Fox Armoury** started out as a low key jewelry brand for me that combined chainemaille with leather work and nordic medieval armour themes. Here is an example of one of my necklaces:
I got annoyed with Etsy’s business practices though so I am currently on a break from jewelry making haha.
Also, here is a simple DIY yoyo stand that I developed for displaying yoyos standing up on a shelf (prevents them from rolling). All you need are some acetate sheets and scissors. Enjoy!

I made this custom pegboard yo-yo holder a little while back ago 😃 it has a glow-in-the-dark spray paint applied to it (that’s why there’s scratches on it lol) and it’s so cool!

I remember doing this as a kid, my father and I made a pencil-shaped one painted and all to look like a #2. We won every single race until the last one where the father of the other racer was also the car placer and put ours backwards, still was close but it truly hurt the race. Wouldn’t do a re-run but was still a good time.
