Probably for these reasons:
- Limited batch available
- Sourced and manufactured in Japan
- Grade 5 titanium
- Receives a sales or monetary cut for the signature user (Hayato).
Any of these reasons could explain the pricing, but I could be wrong. For that price I would try to contact Mowl or Eiji for more information.

Yes…. You are not seeing things.
Yoyogeezer asked the Same exact question that I would have asked, if he didn’t beat me to it🤓
What seriously puzzles me personally about this price point is that it makes me think of other yo-yos and then I’ll tell you what I mean.
Luftverk, Released several titanium mono metals over the last several years. Each time Jeffrey decided to crank up the power, he started with the same Yo-yos But change them over to bimetal designs.
Damien Puckett did the same thing… From mono to bi- metal to produce higher performance.
Turning point… Kentaro Produced at least a few different versions of the Mustang… Each one, a mono, metal titanium. When he decided to crank it up a bit, He produced the Mustang U, A titanium yo-yo with stainless steel rims Resulting in an even more amazing yo-yo…
The W1Ld produced the mono-,metal Tilderness\> an Amazing yo-yo. Then they outdid themselves by designing the Bi-metal based off the almost exact shape of the Tilderness and call it the W1Ldest. And it is Outstanding.
In the description, Mowl says they tried different designs in mono Ti, bi-metal models and different Ti variations in an effort to come up with the best performing model?
But unlike every other major Titanium Makers upgrades, they decided that the mono-metal design plays even better than the bi-metal proto.
Realize I’m only guessing on this. It may just perform better than a Ti -bi version?
Just seems pretty darn odd to me a mono Ti would command that kinda money?

But other than a sponsored player, I certainly can’t see a guy going up on stage with a small tray of 3 or 4 of the $700 dollar yo-yos😂.
No I’m not trying to discourage sales… I don’t mind speaking up on this, because I am confident the yo-yo will sell out. I would say it’s outside most people’s comfort zone. But it probably does play pretty darn good and some people will want to add one to their collection of Titanium yo-yos.
The quality of the yoyo is not in question, here. Just the Ti mono-metal price point?
But…… I ‘do remember’ years ago, when I bounced high bucks for the mono-metal Yoyorecreation Dazzler, so I’m obviously not the sharpest axe in the shed, lol…
And life continues unabated…

If this is machined in Japan then I completely understand the price. Japanese machining is both top-notch as well as expensive.

That engraving is awesome
I just wish the aluminium had the same diameter as the titanium (56a vs 55ti)
I’d give up a little spin power for the chopsticks benefit 6 days out of 7
guess ill need to see if anyone will give me 600 quid for my birthday 🤣 (not likely)

I think it is because we use a very difficult laser engraving technique. I think the two-color laser engraving is very cool, but honestly, if it costs so much for the engraving, I wish they would have produced the product without the logo.
