# Advice on first

First self created yoyo. I have access to a few metal lathes as well as milling machines. All I have to base any of my measurements on are a C3 Capless I have.

Any tips / advice on weight / distribution / axle setup.

It wont be till the new year when I get back from seasonal work for winter term at college. I’ve got this, some aluminum pullies and a set of dominoes that are all sitting on my mind to go to town on with the metal lathe / milling machines.

I have only made a few ball bearing wooden yoyos, not any metal (doing that in my advanced metals class next semester). I know it seems obvious but measure everything multiple times before you do stuff (may have screwed a couple yoyos up not doing that 😜). Don’t rush. If you have the chance have someone else look at your work. They will see flaws that you won’t. Sorry I can’t be more help.
