# Adding a smiley seems to remove quotes

I replied to and quoted the comment:

When I added a smiley, the quoted portion was removed. Did this twice and the behavior repeated. Did it a third time w/o the smiley and the quote stayed.

If you full quote the post _directly above_ yours, the quote will be removed.
