# About apathy by empathy keiran signature model

My guess is that that rim thinness is impossible with aluminum alloy.

But that one is from 2018 and he was not active since then. May be Titanium is best guess but hopefully not 1400 lol

The price will never gonna be in that range, is not in line with the other Empathy products which are usually in the “standard” range for the market.
Not sure if it will be titanium, I am also curious to see the shape properly

Time to make this thread active again.
apathy specs have been released!
Diameter 50mm
Width 45mm
Weight 67g
Heavier and smaller than I expected.
I wonder what kind of light yo-yo it is.
What I am more interested in is the material.
If it is titanium, would they go to the trouble of blasting it? (I don’t think they would paint the wonderful titanium color)
So…it is most likely made of aluminum alloy!
Can’t wait until it goes on sale to the public!

It is stainless steel as he mentioned “it’s not titanium” so I guess we are not seeing another Ti sig of Keiran yet

Do you think there will be another Ti model than this one?
I didn’t expect it to be made of stainless steel.
That must be why it came in at 67g.
My only question is I am wondering if the sound unique to the Ti model will also be made of stainless steel.
More importantly, I bought it (looks like I won’t be able to buy any more yo-yos this year lol)

There are still 34 available, 12 Silver and 22 Black, Keiran said they were limited on IG, might just be this one run.

JT often makes full stainless steel models
The advantage of full stainless steel is its high strength, which allows for more aggressive designs.
I think this is because the body can be made thinner, allowing more freedom in design.
The disadvantage is that it is heavier.
However, apathy has kept the weight down to 67g, which I think is very impressive.
Personally, I wish it had been released in raw color!
Because stainless steel does not tarnish easily.

200 is actually fair for steel yoyo. It is the same price as YoYoFactory Ricochet release in 2013. Both are undersized at 50mm but Apathy is wider
