Things about 888:
Small
Wide
Round
Hubstacks
Things about G5:
Large
Skinny
H-Shape(can be uncomfortable)
Z-Stacks(larger hubstacks and easier to catch)
Pick which one that has characteristics that suit what you want.

This one is a toss up. They are COMPLETELY different yoyo’s. Just pick one you think will fit your preference and go with it. You will usually pick one you like.

They are VERY different… Just look at the shapes…
You already have a Dv888 right? Well thats the same size at the 888, where as the G5 is alot bigger… It is a little narrow for a yo its size…
They are both only as smooth as the person who throws them…
The G5 MIGHT be able to yeild a little more spin time due to massive rim weight, but both yoyos will spin much longer than you need for any trick

Pretty much any metal you buy today will have longer spin times than you have tricks. Take that out of your reason for buying a yoyo and you’ll be just fine.

888 because if you get the G5 you might think it is a little awkward holding it but if you are looking a yoyo thats really good on the string get the 888 ;D

The first time I help my G5 I fell in love… Love at first touch…
If your looking for a yoyo thats really good on the string get the G5 ;D
But I’d say just flip a coin… Both are great yoyos…
