We loved the sweet sounds we heard from Week 1 of 5A May, let’s keep the rhythm going as we dive deeper into Week 2! 5A is super rewarding once you get to the point where you can just keep going without catching the counterweight. It’s just constant flow state. Having a firm grasp on 1A helps though. If 5A ever feels like a bit of a struggle, you can at least feel confident knowing there’s a lot of mutual skill transfer. 5A didn’t really start clicking for me until I took a long 1A sabbatical to up my general level of yoyo control. ---

For sure! Ive been enjoying dabbling in the different styles the past couple months but I am focusing down on 1A and 5A rest of the year. Should be a blast! This is my first year taking yoyo seriously so ive got plenty of time to up my skills. Im just now starting to get a grasp of what I really enjoy! 5A is calling me tho, so two styles for me! ---

I like to dabble so ill never not dink around with AA. I have enjoyed 0A and modern responsive as well. I like to learn different things so ill probably never stop playing those styles too. But I do have the most fun playing 1A and the little time ive spent on 5A has been eye opening. Ultimately id like to at least have tricks in every style but now that the events are winding down I am going full press on 1A and ill keep 5A going too.
