The sun was out today. Yes!!! Took a day of experimenting with adjustments to my rig. So I was thinking about how I hate having to wrap thread around things to make strings. Oh, how I wish I could automate the silliness! Lord, save me from the tedious repetition! WHAT COULD I DO TO NOT HAVE TO DO THIS?!?!?! that is when it hit me. Toy trains. I repeat. TOY. TRAINS. a few switches and about 50 feet of track. A flatbed railcar or two with a post set up to hold a spool. This is all preliminary, but this could turn a yoyo string rig into a model train setup! I don’t even mess around with them,but it COULD be awesome! Now if I could think of a way to spin them more easily… ---

I would walk all 5 or 6 strings at once. On a 3 string setup it went okay. Also showed me that the layout of your threads could alter feel/performance too if using different ones.
