I have filmed some but i have never done any editing so struggling with that some but i have few more days left ah i may have to do one take and hope i don’t mess up lol ---

A few days plus a weekend left to get filmed and entered! The entries have been coming in, but not as a flood. That’s to be expected as most people will submit at the last moment. Last year I think I had 5 entries the weekend leading up to the deadline and then we ended off with dozens of entries. Even now, we definitely have enough entries to make a “go” of it, and I have no concerns or worries. HOWEVER, I wanted to put this out there: Some people are worried that their tricks aren’t “good enough” or that failing, that their video isn’t “good enough”. First off, that’s not true. Y’all’s some skilled folks with something to offer. Next: a bunch of the prizes don’t require anything except an entry. Bust out a camera, film yourself for a minute or so, and submit it up. :wink: The fixie packs are extremely valuable in terms of cost price and also cool factor. The first-year people are so far facing great odds of winning one of these because there is a lower ratio of submissions. The other “random draw” packs also feature great yoyos with high retail value! For the first-year people: remember, you are competing against other first-year people. You might think, “I’m not very good”, but you are against exclusively other people who are thinking (incorrectly) the same thing. :wink: Finally: virtually every single person who has submitted has mentioned in their PM that it was just fun to get around to making a video. Go for it, have some fun! Thanks for the entries so far, and looking forward to the rest! ---

I shot some more footage today and finally figured out a editing app to put them all together with music can’t wait to finish I should be submitting tomorrow woohoo this has been a great opportunity to throw more than normal and my wife has been encouraging me to get it done even filmed for me todayi ---

Just been filming and collecting trick footage. My only chances now to film is on my breaks at work and have short moments to do it in. By the time I’m home it’s dark out thanks to the pointless Daylight Savings ending change. I think I’m going to try to wrap up filming tomorrow and just start putting things together. I’ve got some good stuff going, and some good takes. I’ve gone into perfectionist mode on my tricks and decided that when I’m not happy with how a trick looks (looking sloppy) I’ll try again. ---

Well, that was the saddest, least productive video session I think Ive ever shot. Seriously dismal performance on my part. Shakey hands, blank mind, i swear youd think ive never done a bind before. . . BUT! there is video shot, (first for me) and its uploading to movie maker now. Im not proud, but at least i can say i participated. HAhaha all smiles tho, dont get me wrong. 🙂 ---

Funny you should say that, Owen. I had been thinking the same thing, and at least another 2 of the submissions have some pretty sweet chopsticks. And I’ve been thinking to myself that I need to beef up my chopsticks game… I sense a chopsticks renaissance coming on. :wink: Or at least among the “Elders”. Haha! ---

Wow there is some pretty sweet talent going on in the year and under category im kinda like wow im so behind on my progress lol but im editing as we speak great videos so far everyone to Angrygumball film under a street lamp in a parking lot if you can i had some good shots when i filmed under one just a thought ---
