Darnell got a few. He didn’t get Chris’s but he got Sebby’s. (Sebby was standing very close to the front of the stage so it’s hard to see his string on camera. The lighting was in the back of the stage). > **[Darnell Hairston](https://www.youtube.com/user/yoyo15479)** > > my favorite yoyo's are... HUUUUGE thanks to everyone who came out, supported, sponsored, volunteered, competed, and made the first Ohio State Contest a HUGE success!! We’re going to have to look at a larger venue for next year. Yoinks! We’re already making notes of what needs to be improved for next year…obviously the lighting was a bit dark (it’s a rock and roll venue, and I had taken it for granted that the lights COULD be brighter…they turned them up all the way and it was still pretty dark), and I should have posted a schedule of the days events…a few little details that could have helped the event run smoother. Please drop me a line at [steve@clevelandyoyoclub.com](mailto:steve@clevelandyoyoclub.com) with any suggestions for next years event. We had well over 200 attendees this year, and just a little over 50 competitors, so I think we’re off to a decent start. Also, for anyone who is interested, I’ll be hosting a workshop at Worlds on how to organize and run a yo-yo event. Hope to see plenty of people there! S ---
