first: how can you make a journey unresponsive? cleaned the bearing, tried both a dry and a lubed one. Also siliconed, so it’s not the orings would shims work? Second: Can you sili recess a FH2? I’ve successfully sili recessed a fhz, but I don’t think the caps on this just pop off the same way as the fhz’s did. ---

As for your journey, shims would work. As for the fh2, if it is a 2010 model it has a pad recess. Before 2010, yes you can recess it. The caps are paper and pop out just like any other cap. ---

awesome, I’ll get some then and it does have the pad recess. but can you fill that with flowable? looks too wide/shallow. Edit: actually I thought about it, and sili recessing it wouldn’t really work. lol nevermind. \>\< are their silicone response pads okay? haven’t tried anything but their stand friction stickers. ---

Try one silli or one of [these](http://http) and a (completely) worn friction sticker. ---

Do not fill it with silicone. It will rip out in about 15 minutes of play. Just buy silicone stickers, and use 1. When that one dies, just throw one in the other side. ---
