# 1 1/2 Mount

Can anyone give me advice on the One-half mount?

I can’t get it to even land on it. what am i doing wrong?

You need to line up the string that the yoyo hits better. Just go into the “1” part, stop, line everything up, then hit it. You should also maybe move your entire body when it goes over.

That’s how you can practice it and once you practice more, you’ll be able to do it smoothly without needing to pause.

Thats what most people do when they learn it. After then practice, they can do it in one motion. I can too.
